The world around us is changing. What will make the first century of the millennium different to the last? What will we love, how will we live, what will keep us awake at night?
Join artists, scientists, ethicists, futurologists as they explore questions, ideas and propositions that explore our changing environment and the challenges humanity faces in the future.
AL and AL's Eternal Youth may have closed at FACT but the new commission has opened as part of a media art show in Beijing called Synthetic Times. An official cultural project in the lead up to this summers Olympics, the new media exhibition is showcasing work by over 50 artists from 30 countries.
AL and AL join Anthony McCall in representing the UK.
FACT's Programme Delivery Manager Nick Lawrenson has been overseeing installation of the UK works in the show.
Join us for breakfast as the artists discuss their new work, Eternal Youth, and their 18 month Liverpool residency, with Jude Kelly OBE - Founder and Chair of Metal and Artistic Director of the South Bank Centre, London.

Future of the Body or Future Body?
This weekend is the final weekend of our sk-interfaces exhibition and we're hosting an event called stitched-up where we draw together some of the ideas that we have discussed over the Body period of our Human Futures programme.
We're exploring what we think we need to discuss about the future of the body - or future bodies. . . . .

The anticipated international conference starts today with international guest speakers delivering keynote presentations and debating many of the aesthetic, philosophical and medical issues raised in the exhibition.
